Hoka® Challenger 8
Slip on the women's trail running sneakers Hoka® Challenger 8 and head where the asphalt ends and the gravel or forest path begins. The Challenger 8 seamlessly connects road to trail, so you don’t have to worry about where today’s route will take you. The high cushioning softens every landing, allowing you to run with legs ready for more kilometers. In the Purple Fog/Black colorway, they look fresh and aren’t afraid of dust or mud.
The midsole made of CMEVA (compressed EVA) is 39 mm high at the heel and 32 mm at the toe. The 7 mm drop supports a natural roll, and the sneakers are designed for a neutral foot strike. Weighing in at 232 g, they remain lightweight, making them perfect for daily training and light hiking. The rubber outsole with a 4 mm deep tread provides reliable grip on gravel and trail paths. The breathable upper made of synthetic materials and textiles wicks away heat, while reflective elements increase your visibility in low light. The insole has a narrower B width, so the sneakers fit best on slimmer feet. Hoka® was born in Annecy, France, under the Alps and gained fame for its significantly higher cushioning, which changed the way we think about running footwear.
Hoka® Challenger 8
One pair, endless miles on and off the road - Hoka Challenger 8
TheHoka Challenger 8 is a versatile running sneaker that bridges the world of asphalt and lighter trail. With Hoka's soft cushioning and Meta-Rocker geometry, they offer a smooth stride, fast response and comfort for everyday training and longer runs. They're designed for runners who don't want to deal with the surface - just slip them on and run.
The model builds on a more durable and breathable upper that better cradles the foot, while the versatile outsole with 4mm grips adds confidence on gravel, parks or dirt trails. The Challenger 8 remains light, stable and ready for training runs, tempo runs and runs where the terrain changes every few miles.
They work best on asphalt, gravel and easy trails. Thanks to the combination of cushioning and durability, you can expect a lifespan of around 500-700km with normal use, depending on running style and terrain difficulty of course. It's a model you can rely on throughout your training cycle.
