adidas SL 72 OG
The brand adidas Originals dives into its own archive and brings you the women's sneakers SL 72 in the original form they first appeared in back in 1972. They were created as a lightweight running shoe for the Munich Olympic Games. Today, you wear them in the city, where the rich red adds energy and the low, sleek profile feels light and elegant.
The upper is made of suede, which is soft to the touch and gives depth to the color with its fine texture. With each wear, the shoes gain a more distinctive character. The sturdy rubber outsole grips well on sidewalks and pavements, while the low cut allows freedom for the ankle. The retro style pairs well with wide jeans, a pleated skirt, or a tracksuit, making it perfect for adding a bold color accent to any outfit. adidas was founded by Adi Dassler in Herzogenaurach, Germany. The adidas Originals line breathes new life into classics from the company’s archive, transforming them into pieces for everyday style.

Pioneering athletics at the forefront of modern trends - adidas SL 72
The adidas SL 72 is the epitome of sports history. As the name suggests, the shoe was first introduced in 1972 on the occasion of the Summer Olympics in Munich as a revolutionary running model. The abbreviation SL stands for "Super Light", referring to the then-unprecedented lightness of the design, which offered runners greater speed and agility. Today, this silhouette isn't just experiencing a simple comeback - it's become an absolute must-have piece in the world of streetwear and high-fashion. With its narrow profile and authentic vintage look, the adidas SL 72 is the perfect choice for those looking for a stylish alternative to massive sneakers.
Retro construction with attention to detail and comfort
What makes the SL 72 a standout piece is the fidelity to the original design combined with quality craftsmanship. The upper combines breathable nylon and premium suede, giving the shoe lightness and a distinctive texture. The EVA foam midsole offers comfortable cushioning for everyday wear in the city, while the rubber outsole with a unique sawtooth pattern guarantees great traction. This model is a celebration of minimalism and colour variety - from classic blue and yellow combinations to modern collaborations like the one with Wales Bonner. in short, the adidas SL 72 is the definition of timeless, looking just as good with denim as it does with a more elegant outfit.

Tres confortables et faciles a porter avec beaucoup de tenues
adidas Originals are not just sneakers but an entire culture that has developed around them. Ever since the brand with the iconic three stripes appeared on the scene, it has shaped the sports world as well as streetwear and pop culture. The history of adidas dates back to 1949, when Adi Dassler laid the foundations for the brand that is now one of the absolute top brands. The adidas Originals segment was created as a tribute to the iconic models of the past. It revives classic silhouettes and adds modern elements to them. It keeps the legacy of sports and urban fashion alive and relevant.
The most famous models include the immortal Superstar, favoured by members of the hip-hop group Run-D.M.C. in the 1980s, or the minimalist Stan Smith, named after the legendary tennis player. If you're looking for something more futuristic, the adidas NMD or Ozweego are great choices. The common denominator of all models is quality materials and technologies like Boost or Primeknit. And of course, timeless designs that never get old.
Over decades of existence, adidas Originals sneakers have won fans among celebrities, athletes and artists. They are worn by Pharrell Williams, Kanye West and skater Nora Vasconcellos. The brand regularly collaborates with leading designers and other brands. Collaborations with Yeezy, Prada or Beyoncé' s Ivy Park clearly prove that Originals models are not afraid to constantly push the boundaries of fashion.
Whether you're looking for something for everyday wear, to pump up the sporty vibe or simply retro classics, this brand always has something that will get you going. Atdy certainly doesn't skimp on comfort, quality and style. Choose your pair at Footshop and be part of a legend.
