Clarks Originals Wallabee Lite
Saturday morning, coffee in hand, and a stroll through the city without a clear plan. The Wallabee Lite from Clarks Originals in a warm Maple shade is perfect for moments like these. Slip them on, tie them up, and you're ready to go without worrying about matching them. They feature that distinctive shape you recognize at first glance, but in a lighter version, so you can wear them all day without fatigue.
The upper is made of soft suede, which gains its own character over time and pairs well with jeans, chinos, and looser pants. The low cut leaves your ankle free, the rubber sole provides solid grip on pavement and wet sidewalks, and you'll find the laces included in the box. This model is based on the original Wallabee with a moccasin construction, first introduced in 1967, and it still feels fresh and effortless among men's sneakers. Clarks hails from the English town of Street in Somerset, where brothers Cyrus and James Clark began making shoes in 1825. The Clarks Originals line continues to celebrate their most iconic designs from the archive.
Clarks Originals Wallabee
Icon with a crepe soul - Clarks Wallabee
Clarks Wallabee is more than just a shoe, it's a cultural phenomenon and a timeless icon that has firmly established itself across subcultures since its birth in 1967. Did you know that this unique loafer design inspired by German Grasshopper boots instantly captured the imagination of Jamaican Rudeboys, Reggae artists and later the entire New York hip-hop scene? (They've been worn by members of the Wu-Tang Clan and Oasis!) Today, it's a must-have accessory for anyone who loves premium materials and unconventional style. The heart of the Wallabee is its iconic silhouette and, above all, its genuine Crepe Sole.
This raw, natural rubber is the real game-changer - it gives the shoe an unmistakable look and unparalleled comfort, is soft, absorbs shock and provides a cloud-like walking experience. Together with the simple moccasin construction in quality suede or leather, the Wallabee is synonymous with all-day comfort and timelessness. These shoes are made for those who are not looking for ephemeral trends, but style and personality - for lovers of streetwear, vintage pieces, hip-hop culture and clean, premium design. Wallabees go with almost everything: for a street vibe, pair them with loose baggies or straight jeans (slightly frayed) and an oversized t-shirt. For a more sophisticated smart-casual look, choose chino trousers and a turtleneck. Add a piece of subcultural history and premium comfort to your outfit.
