More than 100 years of one of the most enduring brands in the history of the footwear industry can now finally be purchased in sneaker form at Footshop. But Mizuno didn't just make shoes from the start. This legend was born in Osaka, Japan, in 1906 when brothers Rihachi and Rizo founded Mizuno Brothers, which initially focused on baseball apparel. The older Rihachi brother was fascinated by the American sport and decided to use his new brand to promote it throughout Japan.

Today, of course, Mizuno is no longer just about baseball. It's penetrating different sports - especially running, but also cultures and subcultures outside of it. If you're into the Japanese aesthetic of clean shapes, colour combinations that always hit the spot for some reason, and retro perfected to perfection, then you've come to the right place.
