The Adidas Adizero Prime is a premium, ultra-lightweight, speed-oriented running shoe designed for road racing and intense tempo workouts. They are part of the elite Adizero line, which is optimized for maximum running efficiency, energy return and rebound dynamics. Prime is the model for runners who want the lowest weight, highest speed and precise performance without compromise.

The model uses a Lightstrike Pro polyethylene midsole that offers exceptional responsiveness and efficient energy return with every step. At the core of the construction are carbon and composite EnergyRods that stabilize the stride and promote a quick transition to rebound, which is essential for race pace. Technological Primeknit or Engineered Mesh upper (depending on version) tightly hugs the foot and optimizes breathability without extra layers.

The outsole uses a Continental™ rubber compound to provide maximum traction on dry and wet asphalt. With a low profile and aggressive racing geometry, the Prime feels both energetic and stable, which you'll appreciate at higher speeds and during changes of pace.

They work best for races from 5k to half marathon, fast intervals, tempo runs and performance-oriented training. For normal racing and training use, you can expect a lifespan of around 300-500 km, depending on running style and intensity of use.
