Carhartt WIP Belmar Jacket
Throw on the Belmar Jacket from Carhartt WIP and experience how a solid denim jacket should fit. It's sturdy, holds its shape, and doesn't need any extra effects. The black color with bold prints gives it a street vibe, yet it easily pairs with what you already have in your wardrobe. You'll love this jacket for everyday movement around the city when you want to look relaxed but not sloppy.
The jacket is made from dense cotton denim with a weight of 458 g/m², which withstands daily wear and will comfortably adapt to you over time. The loose fit allows enough room for a hoodie or sweater, making it easy to layer for cooler days. The classic collar and button closure maintain a clean workwear line. You can adjust the snap cuffs to your liking, and the drawstring hem with a belt lets you tighten it as you prefer. Store small items in the front snap pocket, and your phone or headphones in the chest pocket on the left side. The whole look is complemented by a subtle embroidery. Pair it with straight jeans or cargo pants and sneakers, or opt for sturdier work boots. Carhartt WIP was established in 1989 as the European branch of the American workwear manufacturer Carhartt, which has been crafting durable clothing in Detroit since 1889. The WIP stands for Work In Progress, and the brand brings robust work roots into streetwear and skate culture.

Details
Founded in 1994 by Edwin Faehe, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) develops custom collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of rugged American archetypes and collaborates with the subcultures that surrounded it. On the other hand, Carhartt WIP also managed to get into new contexts and bring its own classics. From the late 1980s onwards, countercultures around the world adopted the rugged spirit of Carhartt originals workwear and created their own style. With a growing network and a strong base, Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and began to engage in cultural spheres outside its own industry. As a result, the brand established its own skate team and music department, while supporting a number of artists and publishing various publications.
Since 2010, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with a number of like-minded brands including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike and Vetements, as well as working with music icons such as Fela Kuti, Underground Resistance and Vestax.
