- Vibram outsole with Amazonian rubber: Developed jointly by both brands, it contains 30% Amazonian rubber and 25% rice husk waste – combining eco-friendly raw materials with Vibram’s technical expertise to ensure reliable grip on a variety of surfaces.
- Sugar cane EVA midsole: A cushioned midsole made from 70 per cent sugar cane, complemented by an insole combining sugar cane (57 per cent) and recycled polyester (16 per cent).
- Alveomesh upper: A lightweight upper made from 100% recycled polyester, ensuring breathability and durability on the trail.
- Thermoplastic polyurethane and rubber panels: These provide extra protection in high-wear areas of the shoe.
Durability and performance
Reviews on cushioning and traction are mixed – the outsole offers moderate cushioning, but the premium Vibram compound performs reliably even on ice and snow, with good grip on most surfaces.
