Hi, my name is Vans Sk8-Hi. I thought you might be interested in some information about me before you get me.
My History
It says on my ID that I was born in 1978. However, at that time, I didn’t go by the name Sk8-Hi, I was just Style 38. Skaters were especially fond of me. By being able to protect their battered ankles while they were training and still look good, I gained fame around the world.
Who wears me?
When I say that people from all over the world like me, I mean it. Over time, my protective element in the ankle area was no longer perceived as just protective - it simply became a fashion trend. Famous celebrities like Jonah Hill, Big Sean or Jared Leto have noticed that too.

What do I go great with ?
I have so many colour designs that I really go with everything. Just choosing me means that you have great taste. And so I never have to worry that you would go wrong with any outfit combination.
So, this is me. And what will you tell me about yourself ?
It all began in 1978, when Paul Van Doren wanted to create a similar model to the iconic #36, known today as Vans Old Skool. His goal was to design a functional and high-top shoe that will suit all skateboarders and that will provide a whole new point of view. He succeeded and introduced a new model #38, known as Vans Sk8-Hi, which celebrates its 40th birthday this year! Of course he didn´t forget the legendary sidestripe. Celebrate with us and we´ll leave it to you to pick your style.
