The development of the Cloud 6 model builds on an unorthodox approach to shock absorption, pioneered in 2010 by former Swiss endurance champion Olivier Bernhard:

  • Evolution of CloudTec® technology: The original idea of adaptive cushioning pads stemmed from a biomechanical paradox – a runner needs a soft, impact-absorbing landing, but at the same time a firm and stable platform for dynamic take-off.
