Pas Normal Studios Balance Shorts

Looking for men's shorts that can handle a brisk hike, a run in the park, and an afternoon in the city? The Balance Shorts from Pas Normal Studios in brown are designed for days when you don’t want to think ahead about where your journey will take you. They’re lightweight, distraction-free, and with their clean look, you can easily pop in for a coffee.

The shorts are made from recycled polyester, which dries quickly, so sweat or wet grass won’t hold you back for long. The DWR finish repels water, and if a shower catches you, the droplets will simply roll off the fabric. The regular fit gives your legs plenty of freedom to move, while the mid-rise waist sits comfortably, and the drawstring allows you to adjust it just the way you like. You can stash your keys or phone in the zippered side pockets, and keep small items in the inner pocket. The minimalist design without bold prints easily pairs with a functional tee, a lightweight hoodie, and trail shoes or sneakers. Pas Normal Studios is a Danish brand from Copenhagen known for its premium cycling apparel with thoughtful cuts and a subdued aesthetic. The Balance collection brings this approach beyond the bike, into outdoor movement and everyday life.

PAS Normal Studios Balance

Balance in every mile

The Balance collection from Pas Normal Studios is about finding peace in speed. Minimalist design draws on the best of the brand's skills: perfectly fitting cuts, technical fabrics and attention to detail. The clothing is lightweight, breathable and ready for long hours in the saddle, but also looks clean enough for city pace. The Vibe collection is born between the hills of San Francisco and the pulse of NYC, where riding becomes part of everyday style. Muted colors and an unobtrusive logo let your movement stand out instead of garish graphics. Handy pockets hold contents even on broken asphalt, the zipper goes on smoothly with one hand, and the material wicks sweat away quickly. The Balance is the choice for riders who want performance without overkill, and style without compromise. It's good for a morning swing, a weekend trip, and a commute to work; layering it makes it easy to adapt to spring, summer, and fall. Each piece is designed to withstand the pace of your workout while still feeling comfortable on your body when you're sitting down with a coffee after your commute.

Materials

TechnologyDWR (Durable Water Repellent)DWR (Durable Water Repellent)A special water-repellent coating that is applied to the top layer of the material. It works by reducing the surface tension of the fabric, so that moisture is not absorbed into the fibres but forms droplets on the surface that run off easily. This treatment is key to maintaining breathability - if the outer fabric were to soak up water, it would form an impenetrable barrier that would prevent body vapour from escaping outwards. While DWR doesn't provide complete waterproofing like a membrane, it is an essential accessory that keeps clothing light, dry and fully functional even in rainy weather.
Composition50% Polyester50% PolyesterKey synthetic material valued for its extreme durability, lightweight, and easy maintenance. It's essential in fashion due to its ability to retain shape—products practically resist wrinkling, dry quickly, and are resistant to UV radiation and biological attacks. Polyester fibers are very strong, ensuring long-lasting goods even with frequent wear and washing. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of products, from functional clothing to durable accessories and sturdy shoe components. / 50% Recycled polyester50% Recycled polyesterSustainable material made from used plastics (e.g., PET bottles) and industrial waste. It has identical technical properties to regular polyester – it's extremely strong, lightweight, and wrinkle-resistant. However, its production requires half the energy and significantly reduces CO₂ emissions. Products made from recycled fibers dry quickly, retain their shape, and are highly abrasion-resistant. It's the ideal choice for anyone seeking functionality and quality with a focus on environmental protection.
MaterialFast drying materialFast drying materialQuick-drying material is a technologically advanced fabric designed specifically for sports and active movement. The fibers (most commonly treated polyester or nylon) do not absorb moisture but immediately wick it to the outer side of the fabric, where sweat evaporates quickly. This keeps the clothing lightweight, prevents it from sticking to the skin, and ensures it stays comfortable even during maximum physical exertion. Additionally, the material is very lightweight, breathable, and easy to care for.
