UGG Tasman II Heritage
Are you looking for kids' sneakers that your child can put on by themselves and feel comfortable in at home and outside? The UGG Tasman II Heritage in a warm Chestnut shade is a low slip-on sneaker that little feet can slide into in seconds. With no laces or Velcro, you can get out the door for kindergarten without any unnecessary delays.
The upper is crafted from soft suede, giving the sneakers a natural and cozy look. The warm shearling lining keeps feet protected from the cold. The durable rubber outsole grips both the sidewalk and the playground, making the Tasman II not just a home slipper, but also suitable for walks or shopping. Around the opening, you'll find the signature Heritage knit trim, making the Tasman instantly recognizable. It pairs just as well with jeans and sweatpants as it does with dresses. The UGG brand was founded in 1978 in California, where Australian surfer Brian Smith started selling sheepskin footwear. Comfort and warm shearling remain at the core of the brand to this day. You can find the kids' Tasman II at Footshop.
UGG Tasman
New everyday comfort - UGG Tasman
The Tasman is an iconic model that has gained popularity generation after generation thanks to its ultra-lightweight and durable sole and premium linings that vary according to the specific variant. You'll find traditional sheepskin, the modern UGGplush™ blend - a combination of wool and recycled fibres - or other warm blends that are typical of the UGG brand.
Suede uppers, an easy-to-slip-on silhouette and versatile design make the Tasman a timeless choice that complements any outfit - from at-home coziness to casual outings.
Manufacturing takes place in factories participating in the HERproject, which supports women in the supply chain and provides on-the-job training.
The sole is made from either EVA cane, a sustainable material that reduces dependence on fossil fuels, or the lightweight and durable Treadlite by UGG™ compound.

Materials
UGG Rollers. A dirty word to some, the best winter boots in the world to others. The UGG brand has literally divided the world into two camps. How did it do it? In 1978 in California, Australian Brian Smith noticed that surfers were quickly putting on the iconic surf boots after getting out of the water to warm up from the icy ocean. One day he discovered that it might actually make a good (not just) winter shoe if made from merino wool. In fact, sheepskin and wool were commonly used in Australia to make boots because of their thermal insulation properties - cooling in the summer, warming in the winter, as well as absorbing odours and moisture. So Brian used his knowledge from his homeland; he discovered that no one in the world made such shoes, so he set to work. UGG Boots became very popular. But their biggest boom came when Oprah Winfrey included them in her list of favourite things and suddenly the whole world had to have them, including stars like Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Gigi Hadid. Since a certain time UGG doesn't only make roller shoes anymore, but also makes slippers, sandals and has wandered into the apparel waters. They try to make the collections creative, trendy, also focusing on quality workmanship and the right choice of materials. So if you're not a fan of roller shoes, there are other pieces that will make a great addition to your shoe closet.
It's also worth mentioning that UGG makes their collections of shoes and clothing with respect for their employees and our planet. In 2016, the brand also joined the United Nations Global Compact, ranked as the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world. What does this mean? All members strive to promote changes in business to minimize the environmental impact of production. This is something we're a fan of and we're delighted to have another brand in Footshop for whom sustainability and environmentalism is not just a buzzword.
